From voltage and frequency to enclosure material and cooling method, our transformers and switchgear are built-to-order. Standard lead time: 25–45 days for custom configurations. No minimum order quantity for prototype and sample orders.

1. Electrical Parameters

 Primary Voltage: 6kV, 10kV, 11kV, 13.8kV, 20kV, 33kV, 35kV — or any customer-specified voltage
Secondary Voltage: 0.4kV, 0.69kV, 3.3kV, 6.6kV, 11kV
 Frequency: 50Hz / 60Hz

 High Ambient Temp (55°C+): Oversized radiators, forced cooling, oil with higher flash point
High Humidity / Tropical: Epoxy-cast dry-type, stainless steel enclosure, anti-condensation heaters
Dust / Sandstorm: IP66 gasketed enclosures, sand filters on ventilation
Corrosive / Coastal: 316L stainless steel, C5-M paint system, epoxy coating
Seismic Zone: Reinforced base frame, flexible bus connections, seismic calculation report
High Altitude (>1000m): Increased creepage distance, derated thermal design

3. Cooling & Insulation

 Oil-Immersed: Mineral oil (standard), FR3 natural ester (biodegradable, fire-safe), silicone oil (high-temp)
Dry-Type: Epoxy resin cast (SCB series), VPI vacuum pressure impregnation
Cooling Method: ONAN, ONAF, KNAN, AN, AF — natural or forced air/oil
Temperature Class: F (155°C) or H (180°C) for dry-type
Altitude Derating: Up to 3000m with custom design

4. Enclosure & Protection

 IP Rating: IP23, IP44, IP54, IP65, IP66
Material: Cold-rolled steel (powder-coated), 304/316L stainless steel, galvanized steel
Paint: Standard RAL7035, or any RAL color
Cable Entry: Bottom, top, or side — with removable gland plates
Special Features: Viewing window, padlockable handles, pad-mount skid, lifting lugs
 

5. Transformer-Specific Options

 Off-Load Tap Changer: ±2×2.5% or ±5%
On-Load Tap Changer (OLTC): Automatic voltage regulation under load
Winding Temperature Indicator: With alarm and trip contacts
Oil Level Indicator: Visual, with magnetic contacts
Buchholz Relay: Gas and oil surge protection
Pressure Relief Device: Over-pressure protection
Marshalling Box: Terminal box for all protection and monitoring wiring

 Routine Tests: Ratio, winding resistance, impedance, dielectric, induced voltage, no-load, load loss
Type Tests: Temperature rise, lightning impulse, short-circuit (at KEMA/CEESI if needed)
Special Tests: Noise level, partial discharge, zero-sequence impedance
Certifications: IEC 60076, IEC 62271, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
Local Approvals: SASO (Saudi Arabia), Saber, SNI (Indonesia), SONCAP (Nigeria), etc.
Third-Party Witness: SGS, BV, TÜV, Intertek — at customer's cost

Technical Proposal
We deliver a detailed proposal: transformer design sheet, switchgear GA drawing, bill of materials, and compliance matrix against your spec.
Design Approval
You review and approve the drawings. We can iterate if adjustments are needed. Typical turnaround: 3–5 working days per revision.

Manufacturing
25–45 days for standard custom builds. We send weekly progress photos. Factory acceptance test (FAT) video can be provided.

SONCAP: Nigeria pre-shipment certification. We handle documentation.
Third-Party Witness: SGS, BV, TÜV, Intertek — factory gates are open.

    Manufacturer. We own our factory in Wenzhou, Zhejiang — the electrical capital of China. You're welcome to visit anytime. We'll pick you up from Wenzhou airport or the high-speed rail station. Factory tour, see your equipment on the production line, lunch included.

    8,000m² production area, 120+ employees including 15+ engineers. Annual capacity: 5,000+ transformers, 3,000+ switchgear units. We're not the biggest — we focus on export-grade quality, not domestic volume.

  • Q What's the difference between oil-immersed and dry-type transformers?

    A

    Oil-immersed: better cooling, higher overload capacity, lower cost, longer lifespan. Suitable for outdoor installation. Dry-type: no oil, flame-retardant, low noise. Suitable for indoor installation — commercial buildings, hospitals, data centers. Our recommendation: indoors or near people, go dry-type. Outdoors and cost-sensitive, go oil-immersed.
